Allison Marotta

Project Director

Allison is a dedicated account manager and project manager.  She has a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing with an International Business minor from the Smeal College of Business at Penn State University.  Allison is experienced in client relations and marketing in various industries including email marketing, B2B tech wholesale, and web design.  She's helped increase profits at every company she has ever worked for, and is always positive and friendly to make your development process as effortless and pleasant as possible.

She's well versed in HTML, CSS, Photoshop, and even dabbles in PHP. More importantly, she retains an essential ability to translate confusing tech jargon to English for our clients.  Unlike large corporations that put your website somewhere low on a priority list, Allison makes every project a top priority and assures quality with relentless attention to detail.

When she's not making websites, she is a future top chef, full time dog lover and beach-goer.
 

Sean Powell

Founder, UX & Interactive Director

Sean has 12+ years of professional experience working in web design and development.  With a wide advanced skillset he's an expert in UX (User Experience) and RIA's (Rich Internet Applications) for companies of any size or industry.  Areas of experience include website and interactive design and development, usability analysis & design, web applications & RIA's, graphic design, and brand & identity development.

Before One Giant Media, Sean was UX & Interactive Director at Skinit, Inc., where he steered user experience for Skinit.com, SkinitWallskins.com, and TailgatePacks.Skinit.com.  Sean also architected, designed, developed, and maintained the Skinit Customizer web application - an interactive web-based product customization app that allows users to "create their own" customized skins for thousands of electronic devices and other similar products.  He helped Skinit leverage and integrate this industry leading technology for a portfolio of reputable fortune 500 and 1000 partners including Microsoft Stores, T-Mobile, Disney, Snapfish (hp), 3M, FUJI kiosks, and more.

At Penn State University Sean taught cutting-edge web development courses and studied New Media and Computer Science.  He has worked with businesses from New York to San Diego developing interactive websites since 1998.  Primary development languages utilized include ActionScript, JavaScript, HTML, DHTML, XML, CSS.

In his spare time, Sean is an avid snowboarder and musician.
 

Willem DeVries

Business Development & Client Partner

Willem brings to One Giant 20+ years experience in IT Management, e*Commerce and Internet business development. Fresh out of Europe as an entrepreneur, Willem started an IT services and System Integration Company in the late 1980’s and turned this into a successful venture with 20 M+ in revenue within the first 8 years. He learned the internet from the on-set working for such companies as i-Cube and Razorfish where he generated and managed multi-year internet applications development projects for such companies as Paccar, Genentech, SAP A.G., VERITAS, Enron and many more.

Together with the technical solutions provided by the technology wizards at One Giant Media, Willem is able to assess your business requirements and needs with great accuracy and translate them into a seamless internet solution.  With a One Giant Solution a solid and proven ROI can be created that will benefit your business for years to come. This can include brand identification and representation, e*Commerce, product personalization, interactive web or kiosk applications, and many other advantages that your business can leverage from today’s technology and the grand-scale opportunities that the Internet has to offer.

Willem holds a BA degree in Business Administration from Vrije Universiteit of Amsterdam.  While he is not helping you, the customer, Willem can be found out on the ocean fishing and wakeboarding, or trying to improve his golf game on the course.

John Shankman

Social Marketing Consultant

Based in New York City, John has been working in the young and progressive social network marketing industry for over 5 years. Most recently he worked in integrated marketing for Federated Media, selling integrated ad campaigns to an array of buyers like Verizon for applications such as smash-hit facebook app Graffiti. He provides hard-to-find insight into some of the newest concepts and opportunities in social marketing, viral marketing, social network advertising, social app monetization, and social traffic acquisition. In English, John helps companies monetize by breaking into and leveraging the massive traffic of phenoms like Facebook and Twitter.
 

Patrick Green

Film, Video Production, & Motion Graphics Consultant

Patrick brings 11+ years of experience working in film, video production and motion graphics.  He brings casting, filming, directing, acting, and latest technologies in HD video & digital production to any project. In addition, Pat is uncommonly well suited for web as he has full understanding of web technology & engineering from his Software Engineering Bachelor of Science and teaching experience at Auburn University as well as experience in front and back end web design & development. Pat can also be found on IMDB.
 

Alessandra Koenig

Marketing & Sales

Raised in Lima, Peru, Alessandra came to California in 2006 to pursue a higher education. She graduated with a Major in Psychology and a Minor is Biology from the University of San Diego (USD). Alessandra is a networking prodigy. Don't be surprised if she already knows people in your own professional network. She is fluent in both English and Spanish, and as a world traveler, she is our new link to the Hispanic and International markets. In her free time, she enjoys surfing and traveling to exotic locations, and house music. 

Geraldine Ridaura

Geraldine Ridaura is from Mexicali, Mexico. She graduated from the University of San Diego with a major in Marketing and a minor in Business Administration. During college, she was part of The National Society of Leadership. She is fluent in Spanish and English and has a passion for marketing and advertising. On her free time she enjoys traveling, photography and fashion.

Megan is currently a senior at the University of San Diego, majoring in Computer Science with a minor in English. She is very passionate about web development and is well versed in HTML, CSS, Photoshop and Illustrator. In her free time, other than constantly redesigning her own website, Megan enjoys shopping, photography, and beach-going.

We use Gmail as one web-based email option, and Google Analytics to measure website performance with automated reports. Google needs no introduction.

Adobe

Thanks to Adobe's purchase of Macromedia, Flash has become a worldwide standard and evolved into open-source-SDK Flex.  One Giant utilizes this technology to provide a whole new level of RIAs, interactive websites and web application interfaces.

FlashDevelop.org

FlashDevelop is an open source alternative to using Adobe Flash or Adobe FlexBuilder.  Thanks to these guys and their great work, robust RIAs can be developed faster and cleaner than traditional industry-leading software from Adobe!  One Giant Media is a proud sponsor of this project and encourages anyone that wants to help the progression of rich flash/flex media to donate a modest amount to their organization.

GreenSock

GreenSock, a.k.a. Jack Doyle, has put together the best actionscript animation engine in existence. His libraries of code ass-kickery have enabled actionscript developers, Flash or Flex, to animate interactivity more powerfully and much smoother than Flash itself. Combine the GreenSock libraries together with the FlexSDK and FlashDevelop, and you've got something Flash could only dream of- this is the One Giant specialty.
